Select the shape (Slide Size). Before you click OK to create your new presentation, you need to be sure you’ve selected the right shape for your presentation. Slides gives you three options for screen shapes with respect to the aspect ratio of your screen:

Standard 4:3: This was the standard shape of all video captured from the early days of motion pictures. Often referred to as the video format of the 20th century.

Widescreen 16:9: This is the shape of video shown in cinemas and the standard for widescreen HD televisions.

Widescreen 16:10: Also referred to as 8:5, this format is largely the format of computer screens.
